University College Dublin and Study Group renew decade long partnership to 2026
University College Dublin (UCD) has renewed its partnership with Study Group to provide international student recruitment, admissions, teaching and support for pathway programmes delivered through the Dublin International Study Centre, preparing students for progression to study at UCD.
Since the partnership began in 2011, students from over 60 countries have successfully progressed to a range of undergraduate business, engineering and humanities degrees at UCD – Ireland’s largest university, currently ranked within the top 1% of higher education institutions world-wide*.
Professor Dolores O’Riordan, Vice-President for Global Engagement at University College Dublin, said: “The international standing of UCD has continued to grow in recent years and Study Group has been a key partner in this journey. Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome more students from across the world onto our campus, benefiting everyone at the University.”
The only majority English-speaking country in the European Union, Ireland is an attractive international study destination and Dublin, already home to over 32,000 international students, is renowned for its warm welcome towards international students.
James Pitman, Managing Director, UK and Europe, added: “University College Dublin has been an important partner to us for over a decade. Having the opportunity to expand and diversify our recruitment ambitions together as we continue to widen student participation in global education post-pandemic is a real vote of confidence in our partnership.”
Based in UCD’s extensive parkland, the Dublin International Study Centre not only prepares students for degree studies, but also helps them adjust to living and, in the future, working in a new country. Complete with its own ‘Silicon Docks’, Dublin is recognised as a global tech hub and many multinationals have set up European headquarters here – including the likes of Google, Microsoft, Meta and LinkedIn, further cementing UCDs leading Graduate Employability record.
