Innovating to create an industry-leading agent portal

As the world increasingly moves online, different industries are adapting to operating effectively in a rapidly changing environment, including the education sector.

Study Group, a leading provider of international education in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the US has moved at pace to develop digital experiences and platforms across the organisation in response to the evolving needs of students and partners.

Part of this work has involved engaging with agent partners through surveys and focus groups and using their feedback to enhance the Agent Portal, which is a self-service online hub designed to support education consultants to advise and counsel students to study the pathway programme of their choice and successfully progress to higher education.

Agent Portal enhancements include:

  • Easy application management: ability to submit applications on the Agent Portal then use the ‘Manage my applications’ function for an instant overview of all students’ bookings, any outstanding actions and the option to upload student's documents quickly and securely without needing to email.
  • Instant help and support: a new option to chat live with an expert to get immediate answers to queries about entry requirements, scholarships and more. There are also new help topics and the ability to raise support requests for a quick solution.
  • Stay up to date: access to the latest industry insights, news and announcements from Study Group, the universities that we work with and the higher education sector.
  • Become a Study Group expert: opportunity to gain specialist knowledge on Study Group processes, programmes and compliance related issues through our self-service e-learning platform and online training modules.
  • Ready-made guidance materials: quick access to a digital library of guidance materials to help students make informed choices about where to study.

Some of Study Group’s agent partners share their views:

“The Study Group Agent Portal is easy to navigate. The new feature where we can get support on any issues arising with an application makes the portal very user-friendly. I strongly recommend Study Group’s Agent Portal.” - MOD Education, Nigeria.

“Upgrades to the Agent Portal functionality has improved the student application process. The new chat feature is especially excellent, as we can resolve queries in no time.” – Eccho Immigration Consultants Ltd, India.

“The Study Group Agent Portal is very powerful, customisable, and reliable. Portal functionality, flexibility, and support have enabled us to automate our student placement processes, become more efficient with managing applications, and improve both performance and quality control.” - Himalayan White House Education Consultancy, Nepal.

Study Group’s Chief Revenue Officer Manoj Shetty comments:

“We are delighted with the improvements made to our Agent Portal over the past eighteen months.

“Our agent partners told us what they needed to support their students through their journey – so anything from advising on the most suitable universities to entry requirements, personal statements, scholarships, visa information and much more.

“To make sure that students have an excellent experience of Study Group from the outset, we wanted to make sure that our Agent Portal made it as easy and intuitive as possible for the agents we work with to respond swiftly to any queries raised with the correct information.

“We are proud of the huge collaborative effort to create a genuinely leading-edge Agent Portal, which reflects our digital-first approach as a company.”

A note for Study Group agents: To make sure that we continue to innovate and enhance the Agent Portal on an ongoing basis, we advise the agents that work with Study Group to look out for this year's agent satisfaction survey, which they will receive by email in October.
